Personal & Family Counseling

A diagnosis of cancer can radically alter how you feel about yourself, and towards your support network of family and friends. Similarly, for your support network and how they feel towards you.
At Beit Natan, we understand that battling cancer means shoring up the patient’s emotional and psychological resources alongside the medical treatment plan. And, we also understand that providing a sensitive forum and listening ear for family members coping with the illness of a loved is as crucial for the patient’s wellbeing as any medical or other treatment program.
Bereavement Counseling
Grief has many different faces. Each person’s experience of grief is unique-there is no one kind of grief, and there certainly is no right kind. Yet there are many aspects of grief that are universal, so that we can find ways to help ourselves or get help from others in order to recover from our grief, and begin to move on.
Therapeutic staff offers bereavement counseling to surviving family members both in individual and group settings. By understanding the process of loss and subsequently, grief, the mourner can begin to heal and grow beyond the trauma.
